With the delete confirmation dialog, just seems a little over-complicated to delete a feed item.  A trash can or at least an option to disable this would be great

I read in multiple phases. First by scanning through the whole list . SO apparently all messages will go as unread. I would like to separate what I want to read later and what I don't want to read by being able to delete quickly.
