Unsure, and IRC was very rude in asking questions Dude, I was not being rude ;) I was just pointing out that people should read the FAQ. Anyway, you need to have libtunepimp built with mp3 (mad) support for it to actually work with mp3 files. Fedora of course strips any kind of mp3 support from their distro, for legal reasons. Foo! We don't support libtunepimp-0.4.0 yet. You need an older version. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 94988 *** *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 94988 *** Chris, 1. the amarok pkg in question (from Fedora Extras) was built using the quick-n-dirty patch from bug #94988. As such, this is a Fedora Extras-specific bug, and should have been submitted to bugzilla.redhat.com instead. 2. Re: comment #2, FE's libtunepimp doesn't support mp3. You need to install libtunepimp-mp3 from rpm.livna.org for the added functionality. |
