Description Michal Kolodziejczyk 2005-12-30 12:31:10 UTC
Version: 0.8 (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Unspecified Linux
OS: Linux

I have lots of scanned images in jpg format, but without EXIF header. I would like to change dates/timestamps of those images. Unfortunately, when digikam first saw those images, it remebered their creation time (or date when scanned/copied). Now even if I change their ctime/mtime, digikam still remembers the old date. I have to remove the directory, then start digikam (so it would delete the metainfo), then recall the deleted directory, and then start digikam again. So I would like digikam to:
1. reread ctimes when starting and/or
2. allowing to change ctime/mtime from the GUI (eg. from the date of the album)

You can adjust the time by using the kipi batch time adjust plugin _or_ in the comments and tags editor.

Not reproducible with 6.0.0, using stand alone Time Adjust tool restored by
Maik for next 6.0.0-beta2 release.
