Version: 0.1.1 (using KDE 3.4.2, Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler: Target: i586-mandriva-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.12-12mdkcustom-irc

I used the MPEG SLide Show kipi plugin to make an mpeg video in VCD format of my picture collection. Although the process took long time, about 40 minutes for only 10 images, i was really annoyed by the result. I tried to include a wav file for music. It was about 4 min length. In the result, picture slides has been over in a minute and 40 secs, but the play of music continues with a blank screen ( with choosed colour ) until the completion of the entire song.

This is too difficult in producing the MPEG videos. If the remaining segment of audio is automatically removed at the end of picture slide show, i don't have to depend other video trim tools.

Also i want to see the result with more quality.

All the best. And thanks for providing this great facility.

I tested it and at the moment i saw the music is cut after last image. you can also set up time for any images to try to show all the photos for the duration of
music. IMO it's fixed

digiKam has a new Video Slideshow tool based on QtAV and ffmpeg which do not
have this problem.
