Description Stephen Leaf 2005-12-17 05:12:33 UTC
Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)

misspell a word, can be in any application (I can 100% confirm this in textarea fields on webpages), Use the spell checking feature. Click finish instead of correcting the words.
2 blank lines are then appended.

This still occurs in 3.5.6
Comment 2 Dario Andres 2009-06-02 19:52:14 UTC
Here using:

Qt: 4.5.1 (qt-copy  971295)
KDE: 4.2.88 (KDE 4.2.88 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090527))
kdelibs svn rev. 975695 / kdebase svn rev. 975695
on ArchLinux i686 - Kernel 2.6.29.4

I can't reproduce this bug. Clicking Finish in the Spell dialog do not append two blank lines on a random textarea on web page when using Konqueror.

Can anyone else confirm this? Thanks

Fixed in KDE 4. Also tested in KMail composer.
