Description Neil Skrypuch 2005-12-11 18:07:47 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.4 (Gentoo 3.4.4-r1, ssp-3.4.4-1.0, pie-8.7.8)
OS: Linux

The "send feedback" email that is at the bottom of all help pages does not work. I attempted to send mail about the (very) old kmenuedit handbook to it and this was the response:

<kde-docs@kdemail.net>: host mail.kdemail.net[81.16.160.116] said: 550
<kde-docs@kdemail.net>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table (in reply to RCPT TO command)

Thanks for reporting Neil, this is quite a serious bug.

Looks like the wrong email address was used in kdoctools/customization/kde-navig.xsl. We'll need to create an email account with the above name now that 3.5 has been released.

Matt Douhan, the kdemail.net webmaster, has created an alias for this address, so the bug is fixed. Thanks for reporting!

I resent my original mail to kde-docs@kdemail.net, it doesn't seem to have bounced yet anyways. Whoever is on the other end should be able to double check that the address works now.
