I appreciate the excellent bug write-up, but unfortunately KRDC is currently unmaintained and is not likely to see further development. Your bug will remain here in case someone decides to work on it, or KRDC is officially removed. Can you test if this happens with rdesktop on the command line? If so, which version of rdesktop? Yes, it still happens.

Then this probably isn't a KRDC bug. It is more likely an rdesktop bug. I've created a rdesktop bug entry (1372644) containing the original bug report (also referencing this report), and will close this bug if the rdesktop guys agree that it is on their side. Ah, sorry my mistake about exactly what krdc was doing, I didn't know it ran rdesktop. After looking through the rdesktop bugs I came across 638129 which is exactly the same. Further reading of that bug came across http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=4113803 which basicly says it's a video driver issue and I need to add an option to my xorg.conf video section. Thanks for the help and sorry for wasting your time. Regards David *** Bug has been marked as fixed ***. David, There is some follow-up work on this going on with the rdesktop guys. Can you look at https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=381347&aid=1372644&group_id=24366 and provide the requested information (it concerns the version of X you are running, and whether you have a Radeon card).
