Comment 3 Adam Treat 2006-01-20 18:58:50 UTC
I don't know how to reproduce this bug from trunk.
Comment 4 Andreas Bierfert 2006-01-20 23:37:19 UTC
Anything I can provide you with? or things I could try? It is strange as the other koffice apps seem to work fine...
Comment 5 Adam Treat 2006-01-20 23:50:11 UTC
Can you try and build from svn? Can you verify that something is wrong with trunk? Because I can start the designer and others can too...
Comment 6 Andreas Bierfert 2006-02-04 14:06:25 UTC
Same here for 1.5 beta 1

Confirmed, koffice-1.4.2 build on rhel4/x86_64 with kde-3.5.1.

Comment 12 Rex Dieter 2006-04-06 17:58:33 UTC
This fixed it for me:
rename /usr/share/applications/fedora-kudesigner.desktop
to /usr/share/applications/kudesigner.desktop

Not sure how/why the app's function depends on the name of its .desktop file.

Either way, looks like it's a packaging issue. I'll wait set this RESOLVED->INVALID pending clarification on the significance of the name of kudesigner's .desktop file.

Confirmed packaging issue.
