Description Sunil Khiatani 2005-11-27 17:24:04 UTC
Version: 0.18 (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

konversation displays the photo from the photo field next to the nick name in the nicklist. (It seems to do this only when the user's photo is a png). If no photo is present then it'll display the logo. On mouse over it'll display both user's photo and logo on the tooltip. It also displays the name of the irc user next to the nick name.

I wish for the option to fine tune this feature, allow both or either the the photo or/and logo to be displayed next to the nick name, and also choose what details to display on the tooltip. Also i wish for the option to display the name next to the nick.

FWIW, an option to display real names in parenthesis after nicknames in the nickname list is already present.

We currently don't think such fine-grained options are justified by their utility, sorry.
