Description Stefan Hundhammer 2005-11-02 17:06:08 UTC
Version: 0.18 #3016 (using KDE 3.4.2 Level "b" , SUSE 10.0)
Compiler: Target: i586-suse-linux
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-15-smp

When clicking on an URL in the konversation chat window, sometimes that URL is opened in kmail instead of konversation. It looks very much like konversation uses the first URL on a line to determine its MIME type.

To reproduce:

Type this into the konversation chat window:

whoever@foo.org test http://www.google.com

then click on the http URL. kmail will open instead of konqueror.

This happens if you have the "buggy" chat bot active on your IRC server and somebody enters a bug ID ("bug 4711") that "buggy" expands to something more verbose.

Just saw that the version info is incomplete - and the combo boxes above don't contain that V 0.18 I am using:

Konversation 0.18 #3016 (Using KDE 3.4.2 Level "b" SuSE 10.0)

I think I fixed this bug with this commit : http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/extragear/network/konversation/src/common.cpp?rev=428545&r1=427071&r2=428545

Can you apply that & recompile?

No reply from poster, and I have confirmed this is fixed in svn. Closing.
