My KDE 3.4.2 kicker configuration

Description Artem S. Tashkinov 2005-10-19 06:22:08 UTC
Version:           3.4.92 (using KDE 3.4.92 (beta2, >= 20051010), compiled sources)
Compiler: GCC 4.0.2 compilation flags used: -O2 -march=pentium2
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.13-k8

After I installed KDE 3.5 beta1 and beta2 kicker started looking very ugly, e.g. application icons sometimes have a grey background, when you press K button the leftside image is completely distorted (my hardware is 100% OK), the date/time applet is shown incorrectly.

Hooh, I have probably found what is causing this misbehavior. As soon as I choose Pager Options -> Background -> Transparant, everything on the kicker breaks (even with a newly created clean KDE 3.5 profile).

I can't explain how that is happening

what version of Qt are you using?
Comment 8 Artem S. Tashkinov 2005-10-22 17:03:19 UTC
libQt 3.3.4

the image corruption in the menu is odd, but a different problem (and almost certainly related to image loading on your system). the main problem of the button and applet tiling is a dupe of 113235
