The (totally unimportant) file that causes it
I don't get the popup with today's svn -- although it says something similar on the command-line, but kpresenter does hang. I'll confirm this bug. also have this bug with a .ppt file, using Debian/Unstable packages I get this popup box too, any fix yet? *** Bug 153619 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** The Kpresenter handbook says that Kpresenter 1.6.3 only attempts to open Microsoft PPS files but sometimes it is not reliable in doing so, depending on the version of the Powerpoint that created them and the content of the files. I also noticed that clicking OK over and over again to get rid of the error message simply coresponds to the number of slides in the presentation. For instance, if there are 15 slides, you will have to click OK fifteen times for the message to go away but after that Kpresenter shows a blank presentation. I am using Gentoo.
