Description Dmitry Suzdalev 2005-09-25 00:04:16 UTC
Version: 1.0 (using KDE 3.4.2, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.5-r1, ssp-3.3.2-3, pie-8.7.7.1)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.12.5

Not so important bug actually :).

I've just tried to add a new feed - I launched an "Add feed" dialog, copied feed address from my browser and pasted it into corresponding linedit.
It happened that somehow feed's address that I've copied had a space at the end.

After I clicked OK, akregator said that there's no feed found.
After I noticed and erased a space at the end a feed was successfully added :).

So, my proposal is to strip white space from feed's address before doing anything else :).

It should be very easy :))).

May be this isn't a bug, but a wish? :)

This bug has been fixed 6 months ago. Perhaps you should use Akregator 1.1.2 (which would complete your KDE 3.4.2 installation anyway ;-) )
