Description Sebastien 2005-08-26 11:47:48 UTC
Version: (using KDE )

Sometimes, when restarting my KDE session Akregator move me in the "All the Feeds" topmost folder.

It's perhapse a bug in KDE session handling (KDE 3.4.0) since I have some other bugs like that...
But that's strange the Akregator behaviour is not previsible.

Please, I would want to have my last opened feed reopened at startup.
The other times (when it does not open "All the feed"), I see the eye-candy Welcom Screen.
I would want to have it everytimes instead of most of the time.

Because viewing "All the Feeds" is VERY VERY slow with a bug amount of news.
It take 100% of CPU for some seconds.
And the time that the Akregator window show up entirely painted plus the time I click another feed node and the time it switch to finally handle 0% of CPU is long and boring to do at every 5 KDE startup.

Thank you.

The slowdown is also visible when starting for the first time the Akregator Plugin in Kontact. It completely freezes Kontact until it loads the feeds.

The expected behaviour: start the interface and load in background the lists with the feeds. This way, at least it would not look unresponsive.

Shouldn't happen with 4.x anymore, closing
