Description don s 2005-08-19 00:07:37 UTC
Version: 3.4.0 (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: I Don't Know
OS: Linux

if I create a test image with imagemagick using the command line:

"convert rose: /tmp/test.bmp"

and then use

"kview /tmp/test.bmp"

and then use the Ctrl+plus and Ctrl+minus to zoom all the
way in and all the way out, Kview seems to get
stuck when the zoom goes below 10% and I think it rolls
past zero. Then it crashes.

Note that I am holding down the Ctrl+Plus and minus keys
and making them repeat.

Also it seems that I can make it crash by zooming less
than 1% using the +/- buttons on the toolbar.

I am using Knoppix v3.9 and Kview 3.4.0.

Thanks

I have the same problem with Kview embedded in Konqueror. I'm using the kview 3.4.3 on Gentoo. The problem seems to effect all image formats (png, gif, jpeg). On my system, when Kview isn't embedded in Konqueror, zooming out doesn't crash it, it just doesn't zoom back in. When it is embedded in Konqueror, it crashes every time.

This bug appears to be fixed with kview 3.5.2.

Kview is no more mantained/developed. This bug wish will not be fixed until a new developer will work on it. Moreover this product is not ported to KDE4. On KDE4 it has been replaced by another software. I'm closing this bug as "unmantained". I'm sorry.

Regards.
