Description mi+kde 2005-07-14 23:22:14 UTC
Version: צ (using KDE 3.4.1, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.2 [FreeBSD] 20040728
OS: FreeBSD (i386) release 5.4-STABLE

I have four monitors right now, attached to two video-cards. Two of the monitors are joined into one screen using radeon-driver's "MergedFB" option. This screen is my :0.1

The two other monitors form independent screens :0.0 and :0.2.

KDE appears to think, ALL of my three of screens (:0.0, :0.1, and :0.2) are using Xinerama, whereas only one of them is (:0.1).

This primarily affects kicker (bug 108970 and, possibly, bug 108965), but I notice, that some windows open on the non-existent "halves" of screens :0.0 and :0.2 (I see their new icons in the panel, but do not see the actual windows).

Mmm, Aaron, this bug does not seem related to kicker. Are you sure, this is a duplicate? I'd be more inclined to suspect kwm or whatever the underlying mechanism KDE has to figure out the screens, etc.
