Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Hallo,

I normally sort my mails from my pop3-account manually into subfolders from the inbox. Now I have following happening with one of the folders: The mails which I put into that folder disappear (no, it is not trah :-) ). When I start Kmail, the folder shows the right amount of mails. When I klick on the folder to see the mails, the number is replaced by a "-" and the folder shows empty.
When look for the folder in /.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail/.inbox.directory/Foldername I can see the mails.

Could you please run KMail from a console, click on the folder and see if KMail prints any messages in the console?

Stefanie, to avoid any real data loss, please make a backup of your
data. Then you might want to delete all index files for the folder in
question.
Afterwards, start KMail from the console and see what happens when
moving mails into that folder.
