In the calendar creation kipi-plugin I miss some basic features:
 * Adding an Image description
 * Choosing more than one Image
 * Manual editing of calendar pages (moving, adding, deleting of items...)

Felix,

A lots of new sdtuff have be done in KDE4 port of Calendar plugin (kipi-plugins 0.2.0). Can you take a look ?
