Description Michael Schuerig 2005-05-04 05:58:15 UTC
Version: 1.0 (using KDE 3.4.0, Debian Package 4:3.4.0-0pre4 (3.1))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-8)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11

Once in a while it happens that I remember reading something in Akregator, but have only a very vague idea which feed it was. Currently, Akregator doesn't help solve this question. The best I can do is go to it's archive directory and grep around.

The upcoming KDE desktop search may make this wish moot, but in the meantime I'd really appreciate being able to search the archived content from the UI.

Well, you can select "All Feeds" (or any other folder or feed) and use the quick filter. That is limited in power, but enough for a simple string search.
But I agree, a "Find in Feeds" with more options would make sense.
Also, "search folders" are planned (folders showing up in the tree filtering articles).
