Version: from mandrake 10.2RC1 (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
OS: Linux

hello,

here what happened :

I opened Konsole in KDE 3.3.2 then I typed "su" (then enter) to be loggued as root

then i typed my root password as usual, it worked but i saw my password on screen !!

[noordman@localhost ~]$ su
Password: my_passw_
[root@localhost noordman]#

It happened just once. Weird and dangerous isn't it ? I typed maybe too fat ;-)

Thanks.

Nicolas,

Yea, you typed too fast. Nothing Konsole can do about it. I've done this myself in the past.
