I can confirm, but it's X that uses the memory here. In any event, the page is *huge*. *** Bug 112268 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** 4.0 should be a lot friendlier on that, but basically 100s of MB are needed just because of all the images in there. svn trunk r795406 seems to use a lot less memory than 3.5.9 or FF2.0. Its a huge page, so I don't see what else can be done about it. Message from the Bugsquad and Konqueror teams: This bug is closed as outdated, as we do not have the manpower to maintain the KDE3 version anymore. Start Konqueror and browse http://zoonek2.free.fr/UNIX/49_OpenOffice/1.html 3. At this stage: $ free total used free sha cached Mem: 1036188 891892 144296 146736 -/+ buffers/cache: 726992 309196 Swap: 506008 124320 381688 That is: Konqueror used 537532 bytes of memory to browse this page.
