Description wendigo 2005-04-06 23:17:59 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

If I try to move a directory to tha trash can in a usb stick I get the message:
'creating folders is not supported with protocol trash'

More important.. since I moved to kde 3.4 the delete tab in konqueror has completely dissapeared .. so I'm forced to move to trash and then empty the trash bin.
Grave

Trashing from USB sticks was fixed already - #99847. Fix will be in 3.4.1.
Feel free to test kio_trash from CVS (KDE_3_4_BRANCH) to make sure it's all working though.

"Delete" has disappeared but you can bring it back in "Configure Konqueror" if needed, or you can use Shift+trash for deleting (either Shift+Del with the keyboard, or Shift+clicking on the "trash" menuitem).
