Description Rob Kaper 2005-03-27 16:40:34 UTC
Version: 1.0-beta8 (using KDE 3.3.0, compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 [FreeBSD] 20031106
OS: FreeBSD (i386) release 5.2.1-RELEASE

Most LiveJournal journals I read are "friends-only", which means that I have to be authenticated as LiveJournal user to read the entries.

It would be great if Akregator would support this!

LJ just uses HTTP authentication, right?

Well, cookies. But even though I am currently logged in, the RSS simply
doesn't show friends entries. I suppose they aren't smart enough to take
friend lists into account for the RSS feed.

Please close, this bug is LJ's.

Eek, you're right actually. It still doesn't seem to work completely though,
but I think that's a LJ problem as I don't always see all entries on my
friends page either.

Closing.
