Crash #2

Description jeff pitman 2005-03-24 06:52:20 UTC
Version: 1.0 (using KDE 3.4.0-1.3.3.kde, Fedora Core release 3 (Heidelberg))
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.2 20041017 (Red Hat 3.4.2-6.fc3)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.10-1.770_FC3

This is easily reproduceable. I used AlterSlash RSS feed and any links clicked on opens a tabbed window with the browse location. However, if the location has yet to fully download and the user closes the tab, then upon entering a link the 2nd time, the application crashes. Well, actually, I just did it again and after a timer expires, it crashes. No action is necessary after closing the tab. But, it does take a little bit. Doing something makes it die faster...

Using this method, I was able to make the application crash in two different locations. I'll enclose both backtraces in an attachment.

Crash #2

Backtrace from within akregator itself. Causes crash in another location.
Appears that you have to do some action after closing a tab which hasn't
downloaded yet.
