Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
OS:                Linux

Brand new configuration:
Settings->Schema->Transparent, Dark Background

Settings->Configure Konsole
Session Tab
Click the 'Shell' session
Change Execute to 'bash --login' (I do this so I don't see bash-2.05b$ )

Click 'Save Session...'
Ok

now open a new konsole. the schema was not saved.

Works here. For each session, you select the schema by using the pull-down menu in the lower right corner of the Session tab.

thing is when you set a schema and choose save as default shouldn't that set the current session to use that schema by default?
I don't remember having to do this before but then it has been a while.

Well being I've not had any problem since then I'm marking it as resolved.
