On my FreeBSD 6.x machine I just upgraded to KDE 3.4 and was disappointed to find that the Windows key -> "popup launch menu" key association no longer worked, and that I was unable to reset it. It would be nice to be able to use the windows key as a single-key shortcut once again. Mike: the Windows key support was a hack and very bad one at that. It caused a lot of problems. That's why it was removed. If you want to use it again, program your X to have the Windows key be a non-modifier. Another thing: this bug is totally unrelated to that. Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created korganizer-devel mailing list. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 173659 *** |
