Can you still reproduce this crash? (maybe with a newer version). If yes, please supply us with a backtrace. I have an similar experience to this one. This is on kde-3.5.1 (but it was present in kde-3.5.0 too). BTW: the reporter did not report a crash, but a failure (the file is not saved). In my case I have a problem with uploading a file the fish protocol: fish://host.domain.tld/home/rbos/.ssh/mycalender.ics The error states: "Error during saving of My agenda" (translated from my language into English). However, the file is nicely saved. I have set korganizer to saved each change. It's annoying that the error is reported while the action is succesfull! BTW: korganizer is running inside kontac. As a reporter I have to say a word... :) I cannot reproduce this error because I don't use anymore this mechanizm. Anyway, some time ago I moved twice or three times and now I am using Mandriva 2006. But generally it's not enough stable for me, so now I am testing fedora core 4, which (for now) looks very good. So, if I use this feature under my new system I would report it. regards, zgibek I think this may be related. I'm using KDE 3.5.1. Have a remote calendar with write permission on group. However, if anyone other that the owner edits the file the calendar will not save. No crash of the system only a failure to save the file. Other than that is seems the best choice for our purposes. Unfortunately, the need for a calendar to be editable by more than one person is critical. Scratch comment #4. I discovered that the remote directory I was trying to write to, had the sticky bit set. Unsetting it allowed Korganizer to write to the file and everything works fine. (so far) Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created korganizer-devel mailing list. I cannot reproduce using ftp. Instead I've got a crash using fish, but simply hovering events (bug #171820) Closing then. (+ noone provided a backtrace for this crash since 2005) |
