Version: 1.4 (using KDE 3.3.92 (beta2), compiled sources) Compiler: gcc version 3.4.0 OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8.1-12mdk I am testing edu programs in French and I use a new .kde folder. KTouch should in my opinion detect that my KDE is in FRench and use the corresponding keyboard layout and training session per default.

true, i don't understand why ktouch don't use the keyboard used by kde...

This is a missing feature. I'll add it to my wishlist. Changing status to "confirmed wish".

Implemented: Preference is given in the following order... language_ID + ".keybord" e.g. "en_US.keyboard" language_ID_short + ".keyboard" e.g. "en.keyboard" "number.keyboard" Closing feature request.
