Version: 2.0 alpha-8 (using 4.00.80 (KDE 4.0.80 >= (KDE 4.1 Beta1), Debian packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.25-2-amd64 Cannot open a PNG file with a fullpath containing an accented character (e.g. á) and the following dialog appears: Could not open [...]/Imágenes/filename.png Reason: Cannot create storage It opens JPEG files fine. How to reproduce: 1. Create a directory which full path contains at least an accented character (e.g. /home/username/imá) 2. Copy a png file in it. 3. Open the copy with Krita (Fails) 4. Create another dir which fullpath does not contain any accented character (e.g. /home/username/img) 5. Copy the same png file in this last dir 6. Open the copy with Krita (Opens fine)
