Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux The function datevalue, using a cell reference, does not show the datevalue but instead the date itself. Example: A1 is 2006-03-14 A2 is =datevalue(A1) A2 should now show 38790, but it shows 2006-03-04. If using =datevalue("2006-03-14") the correct value is shown. cu Andreas

Please try with 1.6, there were many fixes in this regard.

Fix got committed to the 1.6-branch (r610048) and trunk (610049). We behave now like OOo Calc does (accepting only text as input). A lot of thanks for the feedback, Andreas!

Tried it with 1.6.3 (KDE 3.5.5 "release 19.1" openSUSE), same problem.
