Version: 1.6 (using KDE KDE 3.5.5) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux When importing an 8 bit CMYK TIFF into Scribus it is throwing errors sometimes: /opt/133/bin/scribus [Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled] [New Thread -1209849488 (LWP 27429)] bear.tiff may be corrupted : missing resolution tags You can use the same test case file from http://bugs.scribus.net/view.php?id=4412
I'm not quite sure I got what this bug is about but my interpretations are the following: 1) If opening a JPEG compressed TIFF file saved by Krita in Scribus <1.3.4 there's a file format error. This one I can't confirm as it worked for me (Scribus 1.3.3) while the bear didn't. 2) Scribus and Krita use the same library for loading TIFF files so Krita should have the same problems opening the bear. This one I can't confirm either. i don't get any error and the bear doesn't look artificially saturated.
